Saw this poster on the door of a bathroom at a bookstore/book shop in Crested Butte. Made me think, that’s for sure.

So, here we are on Day 7 of the Bicycle Tour of Colorado. A short(er) day, and mostly downhill as we head toward Cañon City, Colorado. Here’s the map:

Oh, one more photo from Crested Butte, I watched this guy paint for a while, always amazing to see what people “see” when they look out at their world.

Quick pic of one of my favorite meals of the week…

Oh, and I’ll be sure to show my nephew this picture. Kinda cool, huh?

So, here I stopped for a moment yesterday, as storms were attempting to make their way in to Salida, CO. A few cyclists passed me by asking, “You OK?” It’s nice to have people looking out for you, ya know!

As I begin this final day of the ride, and my 13th long-distance ride day of the month here in the Rocky Mountains, I get to reflect on the possibilities.

Sitting here in the Brown Dog Coffee Company in Salida, CO, I looked up to see this writing on the wall

I’ll be returning to California, and especially the nearly 100 members of, with a renewed sense of engagement; a deeper sense of purpose of the “So that…” which I discuss in the book Your Best Just Got Better (chapter 7).
