Oh thank goodness…I went to #CoffeeChat with Jodi this morning and saw a friend who was reading the Financial Times newspaper. As I was leaving (she had to get to her hike – yup, she’s training for the Rim to Rim, Grand Canyon hike in September, and you’re invited!) John said, “Did you see this article on Productivity by Ian Saunders?”
I’ve reached out via email, written letters and comments to Mr. Saunders, one day we’ll connect, I have faith. Up to now, I suppose my book is still an unknown to him; why do I think that? Because of the recent highlight he did on productivity books, personalities and methods. I love adding to this discussion.
After a bit of online research, I found this slideshare from Mr. Dickerson. Woah! This is awesome. In light of the Leadership in Action project I’m working on with the Frances Hesselbein Leadership Institute (formerly the Peter F. Drucker Leadership Institute), I am gaining a greater awareness of just how important “culture” is to the whole game of work…And life.
Take a look, and as you’re reading these slides, ask yourself, “How are we creating a culture of engagement, productivity and purpose?”
If you know you are, would you leave a comment with the one thing you know you’re doing? That would help us readers push this in a positive direction. Thanks so much!

The practices – in professional and personal lives – are likely to be driven by internal values as well as external stimuli.
Obviously, there would never be THE right way on a dynamic scale of time.
Under such an environment, the only aspect that needs to be ingrained in what can be termed – or already known as – Culture is – Practice – honestly and transparently- what you believe, under any and all circumstances.
