According to Wkipedia, Yoda is a pretty big deal*. Whenever I see a reference to Star Wars, he is one of the characters that makes my own list of “Most Important People.” Do you remember when you first saw episode 5? (The Empire Strikes Back) I do, and there’s one scene that forever changed the way I look at my own world.

You know that saying, “What goes around comes around”? Well, I think it applies to my focus as well. Just today I played around with focusing on something different, just to see what would happen. I let my mind wander for a while (with a piece of paper on the desk and a pen in my hand) as I pondered the thought, “Who’s doing amazing things?”

Well, before I knew it, I’d come up with a mind-map of all kinds of things; people’s names, events, places, areas of focus, projects we’re working on…all KINDS of things. In that brief 10 minute span of time, I had a nice realization that indeed things ARE getting better. And, as such, the more I focus on what’s working, the more things work. So, what are you going to take on this week?

*Yoda is a character in the Star Wars universe, appearing in the second and third original films, as well as all three prequel trilogy films. Yoda served as the Grand Master of the Jedi Order for hundreds of years until the fall of the Republic. In spite of his small stature (two feet two inches, or 0.66 meters), he was the most powerful Jedi Master in galactic history.
